ABOUT ME

Wendy Schmidt

I started ballroom dancing when I was approximately 15 years old. After raising a family in Prince George, since 1998 I have increased my expertise with all types of International and Standard dance styles, and am confident at the beginner and intermediate levels. Dance is a passion for me. I want to assist individuals in learning dance and helping them feel confident in their knowledge and technique - without compromising just being able to have a lot of fun. I love working with people and enjoy seeing people who initially were hesitant or didn't think they would dance very well, turn into confident dancers who can smile at their quick progress - for general dance and especially for wedding dance. For those of us guys that have 2 left feet, (and for those that don’t) this class is for us. This a non intimidating environment that is relaxed to the point you can learn the dance patterns…..

If you are wanting to learn a specific dance step, this is the place.

Dance steps do not come naturally for me and I still was able to learn the pattern.
